Deathwing strikeforce by Schadle
It's a rare treat to find Deathwing looking this good.
Here we have a Deathwing Assault Squad painted by multi-Demon and Slayer Sword winner Thomas Schadle, led by the (then) Master of the Deathwing Gabriel. Also included in this gallery is a Mortis Dreadnought.
They are beautifully modelled and painted as one would expect. Blends are smooth and immaculate and the colours clean and crisp and precisely applied. A perfect a presentation of the Deathwing as you are likely to get. There is great attention to detail and pretty much nothing has been left untouched by his brush.
But then they are more than that on their lava/volcanic bases and carrying their standards, check Gabriel's helmet and weapon bearers, and the way the Standard Bearer's thunder hammer is stowed on the bearers back — this is the kind of detail then lifts them to the aspirational.
